Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
SnowTracker.pro (“SnowTracker”, “we”) is snow-and-lawn operations software for contractors, operated by SnowTracker Pro, a partnership based in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what we collect and how it’s used. Questions: info@snowtracker.pro.
The short version
We collect only what’s needed to run the service. Your customers’ data belongs to you. We never sell data — anyone’s — and we don’t run ads or advertising trackers.
What we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, business name — for contractors and their staff.
- Customer records: contractors store their own customers’ names, contact details, service addresses, quotes, invoices, and payment status. This data is theirs; we host it.
- Portal accounts: when a contractor’s customer signs into their portal (by emailed code, password, or Google), we hold their email and sign-in records.
- Crew location: the driver app records crew GPS position during active shifts only, so contractors can dispatch and customers can see service progress. No tracking outside a shift.
- Payments: card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Technical basics: session cookies to keep you signed in, and standard server logs. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — nothing else. We use it only to create and sign you into your account. SnowTracker’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your permission, for security, or where legally required.
Tenant isolation
Every contractor’s data — including their customers’ data — is scoped to their own account. Other contractors can’t see it. SnowTracker support staff access a contractor’s account only when the contractor asks us to (a support request), and only for that purpose.
Who we share with
Only the service providers required to operate: Stripe (payments), WorkOS (sign-in, including Google sign-in), Resend (email delivery), Telnyx (text messages), Google (sign-in and maps), and our hosting providers (Fly.io and Neon; servers located in Canada and the United States). Each processes data only on our instructions. We never sell or rent personal information, full stop.
Retention & deletion
We keep data for as long as the account it belongs to is active. Contractors can export their data or ask us to delete their account — email info@snowtracker.pro. If you’re a contractor’s customer, ask your contractor, or email us and we’ll route it.
Security
Encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest with our hosting providers. Sign-in codes are single-use and short-lived. If a breach ever affects your data, we’ll notify affected accounts promptly.
Children
SnowTracker is a business tool and isn’t directed at children under 13.
Changes
We’ll post changes here with a new date. Material changes get an email to account owners.
