How do my customers get access to their account?

You never create logins for your customers. The quote flow does it, and there are no passwords for anyone to manage.

  1. Accepting a quote creates the account

The email your customer enters when they accept becomes their sign-in. That’s the whole setup — first accept, account exists.

  2. They sign in with an emailed code or Google

On your portal they enter their email and get a one-time code, or use Google sign-in with the same address. No passwords to reset, no credentials for you to hand out.

  3. Where they go

Your portal link — the same branded site their quote lived on. Worth including in your email signature or invoices so customers can always find it.

  4. If they used a different email

The account belongs to the email entered at accept time. If a customer signs in with a different address they won’t see their history — have them use the original email, or update their record in your customer list to the address they actually use.
