How do I set up my snow removal services and pricing?
Snow Removal starts itself with ready-to-rename services, so you’re shaping a working setup rather than building from a blank page. Everything here flows straight into quotes, routing, and billing.
Turn on Snow Removal
In Settings → Services, flip the Snow Removal toggle. You’ll be asked what you offer — On-demand (one-off visits, requested as needed), Packages (recurring service for the season), or both. Save, and SnowTracker seeds starter services: an On Demand service, plus Standard (1× per snow event) and Premium (2× per snow event) packages if you chose packages.
Shape your Services & Packages
On the Snow Removal page, rename the seeded services to match how you sell — Edit lets you set the name, a customer-facing description, the service frequency (per day, per week, every 2 weeks, or per snow event), and total visits per season for packages. A package like “Premium — 2× per snow event · 40 visits per season” reads exactly that way on quotes.
Add your add-ons
In the Add-Ons section, create extras like Salting/Sanding or Walkway Clearing once, write the description your customer will see, and choose which services and packages each is offered with. They appear as options when you build a quote.
Price by driveway size in Size Pricing
Size Pricing is one table: rows are sizes you name yourself, columns are your services and packages, cells are the price. Add a size with “+ Add another size configuration”, give it a name and a one-line sizing guidance so staff know what qualifies — then fill in each price.
A worked example
A typical residential setup: “Single Wide” (guidance: 1 car wide, up to 3 deep) at $40 per visit / $450 Standard / $650 Premium; “Double Wide” (2 cars wide, up to 2 deep) at $50 / $550 / $780; “Large / Rural” (3+ cars or long laneway) at $70 / $700 / $980. Name sizes the way your crew talks — the guidance line is what keeps everyone quoting the same driveway the same way.
Save the whole table at once
Every change — new sizes, renames, guidance, prices, reordering — commits with one Save. When you quote a property, you pick the size and the price comes from this grid; change the grid and future quotes follow.
Seasonal packages also need a season window — see “How do snow removal seasons work?”. And nothing here is locked in: rename, reprice, and reorder any time.
